Just read the Deluxe HC Edition vol 1, and i must say i'm mighty impressed, i loved Tony Harris art on Starman but this is far better, it's my first time with Brian K Vaughan and i must say he is very good, this story has a fantastic mix of politics and a realistic superhero, i can't wait to now try out his Y the Last MAn, so if you can drag yourselves away from the MU and DCU i highly recommend you give this a try

Nice try Pip, some of them won't give up the mainstream stuff and try anything new.

Ex machina is great, didn't know it was in HC yet-might pick it up.

I want 100 bullets and preacher to have the same treatment though.

That book is helping my longing for more Y.

Deluxe HC... finally. I will probably get the Deluxe HC next month.

i haven't but i am getting back into my first comic love...vertigo (or DC's mature line as it was then) have heard good things about fables and i will give it a go after i catch up with Hellblazer, stopped collecting it about issue 170 and have got the newer tpb's on order, then i'm gonna start on lucifer

I don't think it's possible to say too many good things about Y and Fables. Excellent books!

Once you've read the first few trades of Fables, you'll want to branch out into Jack of Fables, which is a really fun book. It's not quite as serious as the main title, which is what makes it work.
