OK, not the movie you expect to see on this board but I picked it up for my kids on Friday and they have watched it 5 times this weekend ... so if you have kids, might be worth picking up. I must admit, I watched it once myself - pretty interesting

We picked this up when it came out and it was quite interesting. My kids, big animal lovers, really enjoyed it. It is an amazing story. You should check out the documentary in the extras, it's quite good.
It is a truly amazing story! I admit..made me tear up! Its unbelievable that this species is still around at all! We took the kids to see this in the hteater down the street, but my 2 1/2 yr. old wasnt interested, and my 3 1/2 yr, old fell asleep on my lap leaving me there to watch the last 20 minutes!
I think I saw one of those damn Penguins marching down my block today.
It's been on this board before, and it's a good documentary. Once was enough for me as well, but good storytelling, and really not that long.
I watched it, good movie, great story. And it is worth watching just to hear Morgan Freeman describe it. But I am not sure I could handle 5 times.

Saw it in the theaters amp; dvd. Really well done documentary. Still need to watch all the special features though. There seems to be a lot. |
